As-salaam Alaikum ladies!

It's time to see how much weight I lost during the seven day challenge (Yaaay!).


Okay so I was 188.5 lbs last Monday March 2nd, 2015 and I am 186 lbs (ALHAMDULILLAH!).
So I lost a total of 2.5 pounds in a seven day period MashAllah; Now of course I worked out everyday doing a mixture of kettlebells, Pilates or  Yoga and I played with "The boy" at the park making sure that I got a workout ;)  and this is the results.

My Diet:
  • The diet I chose wasn't hard for me at all because it's not one of those fad diets that you keep up with until you fail, it's simply eating all wholesome foods (Real Food).
I chose to not put any foods in my body that has chemicals in it. You  may be wondering "what in the world is she talking about", well turn over a bag of bread, a carton of juice, or a bag of chips and read the ingredients listed and see all the chemicals made in a lab (nonfood items) that they put in it. I DON"T WANT TO EVER PUT THAT MESS IN MY BODY AGAIN (may Allah (swt) help me in my conquest ameen!)

When I go shopping now I buy real food like 100% whole grain, fresh fruit and vegetables, I stay away from processed foods and junk food from the bakery ales :-)

Calorie Intake:
  • Now ladies, because I'm trying very hard to become a healthy weight of 135 lbs (I'm a small frame woman and being that size is still big compared to my 20s and early 30s) I'm watching my calorie intake daily to ensure I don't get CRAZY with eating all these fresh goodies which it is easy to do.  Insha'Allah I will continue to post up pictures of what i'm eating and what exercise I do as they change.
